life of intern...funny truth..awesome :)

"Few things i learned during internship..

You don't need to know all about medicine and
surgery. All u need is a stethescope.
No matter if it's working or not.

You'll have to work
under atleast one unit head
...
whom u'll want to beat the shit out...Grow a thick
skin.if u fail to do that, u will have to cry often..

They say it as assisting the surgeon, but u r just the
'retractor dumbass' in the Gen Surgery OT..
And in Ortho OT u r the 'limb holder dumbass'.

You may go sleep deprived during Gen Medicine or
Surgery posting.
Find time to take some power naps during the GCs and get up with those funny imprints on ur face.

Inbetween, if u get time to go out for a lunch or
dinner, don't forget to remove ur apron and
sthescope..u'l look like an ass .

If u have OCD about
washing hands, this is for u
dear.. one day you'll have to eat your lunch soon after
doing a PR examination..

During the 2 months of OBG
posting, u'll be treated
like shit, and that shit runs downhill. Be ready to pick
it up and sleep with it..

You'll do a lot more excersises
than u actually did in ur whole life. By walking and running up the stairs..
There's a fair chance that u'll lose some kgs..

Ever asked a stranger if he has farted within last 24
hours?..hmm well, U'll have to ask it to the post op
patients..no worries u allready have grown that thick
skin.

If ur unit head scolds u or piss u off..stay calm..It's like an irresistable desire to itch where ur hands can't
reach. Go to the nearest toilet and bring his image to
ur mind and ask at top of ur voice ''asshole stop it. U are not my dad to scold me''
Make sure that nobody is hearing u.

When u go to the barbar shop, u may wonder why the barbar is not asking u for a written informed consent.

During one of ur major postings, ur room might go all messy and uncleaned for one or 2months..and again who cares. u r not sleeping there anymore.

Never ignore your unit head's call..he can make ur life hell..Atleast pick the phone and place it somewer
on the table,if u r allergic to his voice.

Whatever happens in the ward or OT, it's allways the
intern's fault.admit that.and even if sum1 says that u r
the one who did the 9/11 trade centre attack, admit
that too..boy u r the intern.

You'll one day wake up in the middle of the night and
walk to ur room mate and look for his bowel sound.

During your psychiatry posting, if u hear a
patient complaining that he has been on edge because he has'nt been getting much sleep and has an intense desire to kill some1,,u'll just think about urself and say ''asshole it's normal''.

Whatever happens, internship is allways the best and funniest period of our college life.

these days rolling vid bad luck....

i desperatly want dis.....my love.

One thing i know about myself. I predict every moment of my life, as it never happens.

My friend was shy and simple....but i created a MONSTER !!!

Everything Happens For A Reason....But The Hardest Part Is Finding That Reason...

Daughters are always so special

It’s been said, on the first day of their marriage, wife and husband decided and agreed not to open the door for anyone! On that day first, husband’s parents came to see them, they were behind the door. Husband and the wife looked at each other, husband wanted to open the door, but since they had an agreement he did not open the door, so his parents left. After a while the same day , wife’s parents came , wife and the husband looked at each other and even though they had an agreement , wife with tears on her eyes whispered , I can’t do this to my parents , and she opened the door. Husband did not say anything, years passed and they had 4 boys and the fifth child was a girl. The father, planned a very big party for the new born baby girl, and he invited everyone over. Later that night his wife asked him what was the reason for such a big celebration for this baby while we did not do it for the others! The Husband simply replied, because she is the one who will open the door for me!

Daughters are always so special !!

Life and time are the world's best teachers . Life teaches us to make good use of time and time teaches us the value of life .

"Life is very Complicated. Don't try to find Answers. Bcz, when We find Answers, Life Changes the Questions.. So Live it, Love it."

Study about the behavioural changes in Medicos who just completed 1year of Internship, we observed common features exhibited by post-intern students. we now term those changes as "POST-INTERNSHIP SYNDROME"

1. Creating new facebook account
by non-facebook users
2. Being in delusion that they have
settled down in life or being in
depression that they have not
settled.
3. Feeling of emptiness
4. Unstable self image
5. Many of them become very close
to their batchmates, even though
they wouldn't have spoken for last
5.5years :P
6. They get habituated to Drinks,
partying and over-eating
7. Few people develop social phobia
and they try to avoid social events
8. Many feel lack of money and
social support from parents and
family, fear of being ill-treated at
home
9. Many start reading standard
books who never touched those
when they were UGs.
10. Difficulty in concentrating on
onething. Unstable mind about
pursuing their career.
11. They start thinking more than
ever before.
12. Sometimes they break down and
sleep off.
13. Majority develop a feeling of
leaving medical career and to try
becoming Administration officers/
engineers

it can be scary to find out you are wrong about SOMETHING

it can be scary to find out you are wrong about SOMETHING. But we can't be afraid to change our minds, to accept that things are different that they never be the same for better or for worst.
We have to be willing to give up what we use to believe the more we willing to accept what is and what we thought. We will find ourselves exactly where we belong.

Do you know why Green colour is so commonly used in hospitals??

Green is the complimentary colour of red.It goes well with medical accessories and doesn't shout for attention. Green, which provides a high-contrast environment, reduces eye fatigue and make bright red blood splashes less conspicuous. Also,we can find green colour as neutral even if we observe in spectrum.(Earlier the colour used was white...the combination of bright operating lights and an all-white environment led to eyestrain for the surgeon and staff. By the 1950s and 1960s, most hospitals had abandoned white and apparels were selected in favor of various shades of green)
